The International Conference on Topics in Astroparticle and Underground Physics is a biennial Conference started in 1989. The purpose of TAUP2023 is to bring together theorists and experimentalists working in Astroparticle Physics, to review and discuss the status and prospects of the field.
Sessions and timetable were defined and the detailed programme is available.
The Best Poster Award Committee decided to award for best poster presentation: Korbinian Urban (Technical University of Munich), Christoph Wiesinger (Technical University of Munich), Steffen Turkat (TU Dresden), Angelina Kinast (Technical University of Munich), and Krystal Alfonso (Virginia Tech). Congratulations!
Here you can find some photos from the conference.
The EXCESS23@TAUP workshop is scheduled as a satellite meeting within the TAUP 2023 conference. This is the 4th iteration of the EXCESS workshop. The workshop was initiated in 2021 to discuss sharply rising low energy event rates observed by various rare event search experiments. Also talks by people who’s work is not focused on dark matter are encouraged.
This is the first town hall meeting of the Initiative for Dark Matter in Europe and beyond (iDMEu), a JENA (Joint ECFA-NuPECC-APPEC) activity to bring together researchers from different communities searching for dark matter.
